| What's a "Big Sit"??? Well, basically, it is an international birding event held every year in the fall. Birders sit with in a 17 foot diameter circle and count all the different bird species that can be seen from with in the circle in a 24 hour period. Big Sit "Circles" occur all over the Untied States, and many other countries participate as well! .Want to find out more about "The Big Sit"??
